2N Access Control System — Commercial Office Tower
Standardizing entry management across a multi-tenant office tower with 2N's IP-based access control platform.
Multi-tenant commercial buildings need access control that works at two levels simultaneously: building-wide entry security, and tenant-specific access management that each tenant can largely self-administer.
The Challenge
A multi-tenant office tower needed to replace fragmented, tenant-by-tenant entry systems with a single, IP-based platform that could support building-wide security policy while still giving individual tenants control over their own floor and suite access.
The Solution
We deployed 2N's IP-based access control and intercom systems across the building's main entries, lobby, and tenant floors, integrating video intercom at the main entrance so building management and individual tenants could screen visitors remotely before granting entry.
The Result
The building now operates on a unified access control backbone, with tenant-level administration layered on top of building-wide security policy. The IP-based architecture also means the system scales cleanly as new tenants move in, without the cabling and hardware rework a legacy analog system would have required.
